“The issue was examined at the OU – PSD faction’s meeting. We support the president’s initiative to cancel the law on public purchases. The law has in fact paralyzed all public purchases”, - the OU – PSD faction’s member Mykola Katerynchuk said today in his conversation with journalists.

“I think, Ukraine has never witnessed such a disgrace when the state money is used for politics. That is unacceptable, - Mr. Katerynchuk is sure. – Moreover, I assume that there is a question of corrupt actions. That’s why the president recalled his draft law and now proposes the position sounded by the Block of Lytvyn and consists in returning to the previous law. That is to cancel the law and return to the law of 2005. It is also not perfect and we should work on it to make it correspond to the standards of public purchases in EU being transparent, fare, democratic and giving the right of access to the SME”.
