The next stage of All-Ukrainian week-end tour takes place in Chernihiv.

The Youth Minister Yuri Pavlenko, people’s deputy Liliya Hryhorovych and favorites of Ukrainian youth Oleh Skrypka and Sashko Polozhynskyi are in Chernihiv.

Before giving a concert on the Red Square, politicians and musicians held briefings for the media. It is worth mentioning that journalists kept the guest busy for tow hours.

Yuri Pavlenko attracted the interest of the media saying that the government was elaborating a brand new programme of protection of children-orphans and children from poor families. «Rea; statistics will be promulgated – he stated. – There are much more children-orphans and children from poor families in Ukraine than official statistics say. Real figures differ in few times. According to statistics, there are 30 thousand children-orphans. In fact there are 100-150 thousand» – the minister said.

»The Our Ukraine Bloc has initiated a collection of signatures for introduction of changes to the Constitution that concern a cancellation of deputy’s immunity at any level from a village council to the Parliament». – Liliya Hryhorovych said.

Oleh Skrypka explained why he took part in the All-Ukrainian week-end tour of the Our Ukraine Bloc: «The only way to help the President Mr. Yushchenko is to support his team». Mr. Skrypka reminded that he had supported «Our Ukraine» since the former parliamentary elections. «It is the most consecutive political force in Ukraine – Oleh Skrypka opined. – VV and Tartak are the most consecutive Ukrainian bands. It is a god tradition to support «Our Ukraine».

»When Ukrainian becomes the second state language in Russia taking into consideration a quantity of Ukrainians living there then we will examine the issue of giving a status of a state language to Russian here in Ukraine» – Mr. Skrypka said.
