Ukraine addresses the UNO Sectretariate asking to provide personal security of peacemakers in Kosovo.

That’s what is said in the statement of secretary of the National Defence and Security Council Raisa Bohatyriova.

“We appeal to the UNO Secretariate

“We need positions of the UNO and NATO concerning more close cooperation with the state authorities of Ukraine in coordination actions of Ukrainian peacemakers and their legal status in police and combatant operations”, - Ms. Bohatyriova states.

At the same time, according to her, “tragic events in Kosovo cannot and have no right to influence Ukrainian’s duty as the UNO member in maintaining peace and safety in the world”.

“Thus the National Defence and Security Council adopted decision on strengthening peacemaking mission in Kosovo”, - she added.

Let us remind that the PoR blocked the parliament’s tribune on Friday demanding adopting a resolution on withdrawal of Ukrainian peacemakers from Kosovo.
