The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko plans to take part in NATO summit in Bucharest on April 2-4.
That’s what deputy head of the president’s secretariate Oleksandr Chalyi said at the press conference.
He also informed that the USA president George Bush is participating in the summit after his visit to Ukraine.
According to Mr. Chalyi, Mr Yushchenko is sure that Ukraine will receive the Actions plan on NATO membership.
In turn the USA ambassador to Ukraine Willam Taylor said who was present at the press conference that Ukraine has real chances to join the Actions plan at Bucharest summit.
Mr. Chalyi also informed that the prime minister of Poland Donald Tusk is coming to Ukraine with an official visit on March 28.
According to Mr. Chalyi, in terms of the visit Mr. Tusk will meet the prime minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko. During the meeting the premiers plan to sign the agreement on border movement.
