The Secretary General of the European Council Terry Davis is visiting Ukraine on March 19-21 on invitation of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.

That’s what spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Vasyl Kyrylych at the briefing today.

According to him, the main aim of the visit is to get acquainted with Ukrainian leaders’ position concerning the political processes taking place in Ukraine after the early parliament elections.

It is planned that Mr. Davis will meet the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, the prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the VR speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk, the head of the Constitutional Court, the Foreign and Justice Ministers.

Also Mr. Davis’s speech before student of the Institute of international relations of Kyiv National Shevchenko University is planned in terms of the visit.
