The president Viktor Yushchenko and the prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko express hope that the countries – NATO members will take positive decision in Bucharest concerning inviting Ukraine to the Actions plan on NATO membership.

That’s what they emphasized on in their letter to the Secretary General of NATO Jaap de Hoop Scheffe, as the president’s press service informs.

Also Mr. Yushchenko and Ms. Tymoshenko addressed the chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and the president of France Nicolas Sarkozy concerning support of Germany and France the North Atlantic Alliance’s positive decision on Ukraine’s joining the Actions plan on NATO membership.
