Signing the Agreement between “Gazprom” and “Naftohaz” on development of relations in gas sphere is a practical realization of the agreements between the presidents of Ukraine and Russia, proceeded by the prime minister”, - the MP from the OU – PSD Block Yuri Karmazin stated in his comment to the website RAZOM.

He expressed assuredness that the Agreement would provide returning to civilized dialogue between Ukraine and Russia and that the latter would not use economic press on our state any more.

To his mind, gas prices for Ukraine will not change sufficiently “but at the same time we have to start saving gas and thus urgent actions should be taken”.

“The companies producing gas and oil today are not fully controlled by the state. That doesn’t correspond the Constitution stating that mineral wealth of Ukraine belong to people. Changing that is the main objective of the government”, - Mr. Karmazin thinks.

The MP is sure that tariffs may be saved for people but it should be economically grounded. He expressed a thought that the tariffs have to depend on the apartment’s area.

“Leaving the prices totally the same may destroy Ukrainian oil and gas-producing companies”, - Mr. Karmazin noticed.
