Lviv oblast delegation will support Viktor Yushchenko’s candidacy for the post of the Our Ukraine party head at the party congress to be held on March 31, 2007. That’s what the head of Lviv oblast party organization of the Our Ukraine Petro Oliynyk said.

According to him, it is likely that the party Statute and the party structure will undergo some changes at the All-Ukrainian party congress. It will be proposed to liquidate the post of the head of the party Council and introduce the post of the party head.

»Our position is the following. If the post of the head of the party Council is liquidated and Viktor Yushchenko agrees, we will support his candidacy for the post of the Our Ukraine party head. If status quo is preserved, we will vote for Vyacheslav Kyrylenko’s candidacy for the post of the head of party Council.» – Petro Oliynyk said.
