«Having issued a decree «About strategy of national security», the president acted under the law «About bases of national security» – the ex-foreign minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk told the Razom site.

»The article of this law stipulates preparation and promulgation of strategy of national security by the Ukrainian President – Mr. Tarasyuk explained. – It means that the head of the state has not violated anything. He has just implemented the law».

Answering the question about the prospects of the law on principles of domestic and foreign policy in edition of the «anti-crisis» coalition, the ex-minister said: «I am convinced that the president will veto this law. Coalition will not override his veto, as there is an agreement between the Our Ukraine and the BYuT.»

Let us remind that the Communist Party has made an official statement on their web-site that the presidential decree «About strategy of national security» is considered inappropriate and contradictory to national interests.
