«Activity of the government and Mr. Papiyev in the sphere of social protection of war veterans reminds me of imitation of citizens’ protection before 2004, in Kuchma times». That’s what people’s deputy, member of the Our Ukraine faction Liliya Hryhorovych said to the Razom site.

»There are almost 3 million war veterans in our state. It is even more than in Russia, though its population is three times bigger – Liliya Hryhorovych said. – As regards social protection, life has not become better as the Party of Regions promised. Life has become worse. For example, one of presents for war veterans is the rise in communal tariffs».

»I did not hear the answer how the government protected this group of people, how the government helped the veterans without family support» – the MP emphasized.

Liliya Hryhorovych added that it was worth ensuring social, legal and moral protection of veterans. «There are also UPA veterans – she reminded. – They also need protection.»
