The main target the Zhytomyr governor Yuri Pavlenko sets is to unite the local elite for the sake of the oblast’s development. That’s what he said at online conference ForUm.

»It is hard to talk about success in a month – he noted. – The most important is the fact that I manage to set up a co-operation with oblast councils and all political forces in the oblast. Secondly, I managed to form a good administration team that would be able to work when the deputies’ candidacies are approved at the Secretariat and the Cabinet.»

»It is interesting to work in Zhytomyr oblast – Yuri Pavlenko added. – I am sure that in a year I will transfer the oblast from the list of outsiders to the list of «middle class».
