People’s deputy, member of the Our Ukraine faction Pavlo Zhebrivskyi announces that the rise in energy prices is groundless. That’s what he said to the Razom site commenting on the announcement of the National Council regulating energy prices.
»If we see at what price Ukraine sells energy to Moldova and Russia, we will see that this price is lower than an internal one – the MP noted. – Instead of supporting Ukrainian producers and population, the government is trying to relay the burden on Ukrainian citizens».
»It is necessary to equalize disproportions in energy sector – Mr. Zhebrivskyi stated. – Western and central oblasts paid by 50% more that eastern ones. It was unfavorable for investors.»
P. Zhebrivskyi added that rise in prices was an additional factor for inflation. «The rise in energy tariffs will make up at least two additional percent of inflation for Ukraine’s economy» – he stressed.
