A judge of the Mukachevskyi city district court Volodymyr Monych is at a sick leave. The Higher Council of Justice recommends dismissing him for violating an oath» - people’s deputy, member of the Our Ukraine faction Ihor Kril has disclosed to the press.

According to him, the Higher Council of Justice had a meeting yesterday and took a decision to submit to the parliament a presentation on Mr. Monych’s dismissal. «Under the law «About the Higher Council of Justice» the judge’s presence is obligatory when the question of his dismissal is examined».

»As Mr. Monych was at a sick leave, he was not able to come – Ihor Kril added.

»The VR committee has illegally examined the Higher Council of Justice’s presentation on Mr. Monych’s dismissal.» – he stressed.

Mr. Kril thinks that Monych’s dismissal is a political repression against a person who dared to take a decision that was disagreeable for the «anti-crisis» coalition.

As we know, on Jan. 22 people’s deputy Ihor Kril had appealed to the court vs the Verkhovna Rada, about declaring illegal the eventual actions of the VR chairman should he sign the law on the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The Mukachevskyi city district court examined the suit, taking into account the importance of the case. Under the court ruling, the Verkhovna Rada chairman is forbidden to sign the law «On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine», which was adopted on 12 January. The judge V. Monych has taken the court ruling.
