«The Verkhovna Rada has no grounds to delay the solving of staff issues apart political reasons». That’s what the presidential representative in the Rada R. Zvarych told the Razom site.

As we know, the Verkhovna Rada will not examine the issues of the foreign minister’s appointment and the SBU head’s appointment.

The head of the VR committee on state building, regional policy and local self-government issues, the Party of Regions member Viktor Tykhonov declared that the question of Volodymyr Ohryzko’s appointment might be examined only when the Verkhovna Rada received the necessary documents.

»I want to deny the information that the Secretariat had not presented all necessary documents on these candidacies (Ohryzko and Korol – ed.) – Mr. Zvarych said.

»The article 106 of the Constitution determines the presidential powers. Item 1, part 1 of this article states that the president submits a candidacy of the foreign minister to the parliament -the presidential representative said. – The day before yesterday the president had submitted it. It is cynical to call it «just a piece of paper».

»It is just an attempt to make people feel nervous. They are playing games with us» – Roman Zvarych summed up.
