The Our Ukraine faction leader in Kyiv council Dmytro Andriyevskyi has expressed his doubts that Chernovetskyi’s decree on tariffs’ rise had been registered. That’s what Kyiv mayor announced at the working group’s meeting.

Mr. Andriyevskyi added that this question had not been discussed at the meeting.

»Democratic Kyiv» teamed up with experts and studied economic background of tariffs’ rise. The data show that the sum is to be decreased at least twice. «But they seem not to hear our arguments. That’s why we have recalled our representatives» - the MP told.

»We are sure that an independent audit company has to check economic background of tariffs’ rise. Independent and respected experts are to be involved. The company is to be chosen on the base of an open tender. Its conclusions will be accepted by the society.» – he thinks.

The Our Ukraine party proposes its way out. «It is necessary to cancel the decree as it is illegal. Several institutions laid claims to it. We would better start to prepare new decrees. It will take several months to make an audit, repeated calculations and take new decrees approximately in April. Old tariffs must act by this time.» – Mr. Andriyevskyi said.
