One of the biggest achievements of the last two years is the fact that Viktor Yushchenko ensured a free choice for Ukrainians. That’s what people’s deputy, member of the Our Ukraine faction Ihor Kril said on the occasion of the second anniversary of the president’s inauguration.

»When we stood on Maidan two years ago, everybody had his or her own expectations – Ihor Kril noted. – We all wanted something. Everyone had his or her motivation. But the main slogan that united us was not to be played a trick with, make the power take into account our votes».

»I can admit that we have achieved our purpose – the MP said. – Mr. Yushchenko ensured a free choice for Ukrainians. We do have a free willpower and the last parliamentary elections have proved that».

Ihor Kril has also noted that the President Viktor Yushchenko fulfilled his duties as a guarantor of the Constitution. «The president had run the elections with his programme «Ten steps towards people» and has been implementing it» – the MP emphasized adding that as a result of the political reform the head of the state lacked power to implement the programme at the full extent.
