Ukraine has moved forward considerably in foreign policy. The point is not only about the signature of important international agreements, the completion of Ukraine’s preparation for the WTO entry, but also about the improvement of Ukraine’s image in the world and the determination of directions of co-operation in different spheres – the head of the VR committee on European integration issues, member of the Our Ukraine faction Natalya Prokopovych noted in her interview to the Razom site.

She reminded that the Action Plan Ukraine-EU had been signed in January 2005. «Active talks on a new extended agreement between Ukraine and the EU are on» – the MP added.

»Several countries have recognized Holodomor 1932-33 a genocide against Ukrainian people. The draft resolution on the recognition of Holodomor as genocide was registered at the Euro parliament.

Finally, in the end of the last year the Verkhovna Rada adopted the laws necessary for the WTO membership. We are ready to join this organization now» – she added.
