«Every people’s deputy has to follow the law even if he is the head of some VR committee. The president has explained his motivation to veto the cabinet law, as the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine had not examined the document he had received. It is enough to return the law back to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine» – the Our Ukraine faction leader Vyacheslav Kyrylenko comments Viktor Tykhonov’s declarations. Mr. Tykhonov had informed on the possibility to form a special committee in the Verkhovna Rada in order to estimate the truth of the president’s declarations on the cabinet law.

»MPs should be ready to examine the cabinet law once again instead of threatening with forming some special committees» – Mr. Kyrylenko said.

He emphasized: «Formation of any kind of committee does not deny the fact that the law on the Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine gives the government unconstitutional power and the fact that the procedure had not been followed during this law’s examination».

»Therefore the president has addressed the Rada with an appeal to re-examine his proposals, just the ones concerning the violation of the Constitution of Ukraine. A constructive proposal of the president receives an inadequate, confrontational reply of the ruling coalition» – Vyacheslav Kyrylenko claims.
