«Great positive changes have taken place in Ukraine’s economy for the period of two years of Yushchenko’s presidency» – MP, member of party Council of Our Ukraine K. Lyapina said on the occasion of the second anniversary of the president’s inauguration.

»It is very important that the president does not interfere into economic processes, for example, into the process of privatization – Ms Lyapina noted. – He has never been a person sharing state property among certain business groups». Kseniya Lyapina considered the GDP growth and the growth of the average salary as positive moments of his presidency.

»The process of simplification of business entry started thanks to Viktor Yushchenko. It had been hard to start up a business because of lots of barriers before. – The MP emphasized. – The policy of the president and the government was coordinated and led to the adoption of the law on permit system».

People’s deputy stressed that the President Viktor Yushchenko had met foreign investors and founded the Council on Investment issues under the Ukrainian President. «Viktor Yushchenko is trying to create the conditions that will favor the investment climate of Ukraine» – she added.
