«The Our Ukraine faction holds a presidential platform and stands for the position of the head of the state and a great number of electors who support him. At that the faction had announced its turn to opposition two month ago. We keep demonstrating our commitment – the Our Ukraine faction leader V. Kyrylenko said in his interview to «Ukrayina moloda» newspaper.

»In proportion with the rate of revenge, in proportion with the return to power of people that had been ready to attack peaceful demonstrators during the Orange revolution, we will act adequately. We will ask all the democratic forces in the Rada and out of the parliament to stand together.» –Mr. Kyrylenko said.

According to him, the situation in the parliament is rather complicated. «But we have to ensure a co-ordinated activity of democratic forces in the parliament. The main task all these forces face is to prevent revenge-seekers from coming to power again. To fulfill this task, the OU faction will be trying to offer Ms Tymoshenko some acceptable scenarios of co-operation – Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said. – We will also support the president as we think that Ukraine needs a global national democratic platform. This is the policy the president is working at».
