The Minister of Foreign Affairs Borys Tarasyuk continues to fulfill his duties according to the presidential decree and the court’s decision. The fact that the highest bodies and Ministers of Foreign Affairs in other states accept him is an additional proof of a legitimate nature of Tarasyuk’s tenure of office. That’s what the head of the Our Ukraine faction Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said.

He has expressed his conviction that having taken an illegal decision on Tarasyuk’s dismissal without any professional reason, the government and the so-called anti-crisis coalition had been aware of the consequences. Vyacheslav Kyrylenko emphasized that the president appointed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and managed the foreign policy of the state. «This is an exceptional constitutional power of the president and nobody can interfere into without his consent. Nobody can solve the conflict around the Interior Ministry’s head either».

»The Ukrainian government controlled by the Party of Regions is the only one body that does not accept the authority of Mr. Tarasyuk. All other governments do – Mr. Kyrylenko has emphasized. – An appeal to the Prosecutor General will just worsen the image of Ukraine abroad. Force approach will not solve the problem».

As we know, the PM Viktor Yanukovych wants the Prosecutor General office to take measures concerning the actions of Borys Tarasyuk who continues to fulfill the duties of the Minister of Foreign Affairs ignoring the fact that the Rada had taken a decision to dismiss him.
